My psychology teacher from 12th grade was the best teacher I've ever had, but she did make it a point to become close to some students. She and I still talk via email from time to time; and I took my son to meet her shortly after I had him, about a year and half after I graduated. She's had plenty of years of experience teaching though, so I guess getting close to students comes after a few years. :) These are great tips. We either ante up now with more nutritious food, or later in rising health care costs. Not to mention having healthier and happier kids!
